Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) or Remote (US)

What You'll Do:

The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of customer projects across Togetherwork's Professional Services portfolio. This role manages projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer objectives and defined scope.

The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional delivery teams, maintains clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders, manages project risks and dependencies, and follows established PMO standards and delivery practices.

Project Delivery & Management

  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned customer projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, milestones, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across consulting, technical, data, and product functions.
  • Manage scope, change control, project financials, and delivery commitments throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery, resourcing, and customer risks.
  • Coordinate resolution of project issues and develop action plans with the appropriate delivery team members.
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately, providing clear context, impact, and recommended next steps.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of accountability for customer project stakeholders.
  • Provide clear, transparent, and timely project status reporting.
  • Build productive, trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Quality & Standards Adherence

  • Ensure delivery aligns with PMO standards, methodologies, and governance.
  • Uphold quality expectations across milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Provide feedback on delivery frameworks, tools, and processes based on project experience.

Project Administration & Practice Participation

  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, status, forecasts, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
  • Ensure project data and time/budget tracking are current in designated delivery systems.
  • Use established templates, tools, and reusable delivery assets consistently.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of professional project management experience
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Clear and effective customer and stakeholder communication capabilities.
  • Financial awareness with attention to project budgets, forecasts, and delivery economics.
  • Proactive, accountable, and outcomes-oriented mindset.

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the TogetherWork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of TogetherWork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
