About Social Scout
Social Scout is a performance-driven agency helping DTC eCommerce brands unlock maximum revenue through lifecycle marketing and web optimization. Having generated massive impact through email, we are expanding our core capabilities into Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and custom landing page design. We design, build, and optimize high-converting digital experiences—from dedicated promotional landing pages to high-impact Product Detail Pages (PDPs). Our work is data-backed, visual, and strictly conversion-focused.
We've partnered with 500+ brands across a variety of industries, and we're growing fast. We're looking for a Landing Page & PDP Designer who understands the intersection of stunning visual design, consumer psychology, and conversion-focused UX.
Compensation & Role Details
Salary: Highly competitive salary.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) and fully remote.
Engagement: You must be set up and hired as a contractor.
Language: Fluent English required (written and spoken).
Timezone: Available 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Location: Full remote. You can be based anywhere in the world.
The Role
As our Landing Page & PDP Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-converting, mobile-first page designs and web assets across our client roster. You won't just be designing pretty interfaces; you'll be designing specifically to persuade users, solve UX friction, and drive add-to-carts and checkouts.
You'll work directly alongside our CRO Specialists, Account Executives, and developers. From mapping out custom PDP layouts and listicle pages to creating variation designs for A/B tests, your work will directly drive millions of dollars in DTC revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
eCommerce UX/UI Design. You will design high-converting PDPs, dedicated landing pages (advertorials, listicles, bundle builders), cart slides, and homepage variations for DTC brands on Shopify.
A/B Test Asset Creation. You will design visual variations for active CRO experiments based on briefs provided by the CRO Specialist (e.g., redesigning sticky add-to-cart bars, value props, social proof blocks, and review sections).
Figma Design Systems. You will build clean, responsive, component-based design files in Figma, ensuring all assets are pixel-perfect, mobile-optimized, and ready for clean developer handoff.
Conversion-Driven Visuals. You will edit imagery, design custom badges, infographs, comparison tables, and visual hierarchy elements that clearly communicate product value propositions.
Collaborative Design Reviews. You will present design concepts to internal teams and incorporate feedback from clients and strategists with speed and precision.
Mobile-First Thinking. You will design every layout mobile-first, ensuring smooth user interactions and fast visual comprehension on smaller screens.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience designing for DTC eCommerce brands, specifically focusing on PDPs, landing pages, and web UX/UI (agency or freelance experience preferred).
An exceptional portfolio showcasing conversion-focused web design (PDP layouts, landing pages, and interactive UI components).
Expert mastery of Figma (Auto Layout, Design Systems, Components, and Responsive Prototyping).
Deep understanding of CRO best practices and direct-response marketing design (e.g., visual hierarchy, visual social proof placement, above-the-fold optimization, and friction reduction).
Strong understanding of web development constraints (Shopify Liquid, HTML/CSS). You know how to design elements that are realistic and cost-effective to build.
Basic video/GIF editing skills to create dynamic product showcase assets for landing pages is a major plus.
Why Social Scout?
Opportunities to shape the design standards of our expanding CRO department.
Access to world-class design frameworks, UI kits, and CRO research tools.
A fast-moving, supportive team with regular wins to celebrate.
If you're a conversion-focused designer who loves combining high-end design with direct-response psychology, we'd love to see your portfolio and talk to you.
