Job Summary:
The Oracle Field Service Consultant will be working to understand customer goals/requirements, expectations and challenges, analyze situations/data, for configuring or developing business & technical solutions on the Cloud. As an OFS Consultant, you would be responsible for the overall delivery quality on the project by ensuring team’s adherence to standard practices and procedures. Build an understanding of and leverage Oracle methodologies, tools and leading practices.
Essential Functions:
• Provide consistent high quality & innovative solution leadership on OFS Cloud engagements by interacting with customers and other stakeholders to arrive at optimal solutions.
• Analyze and understand client goals, challenges & areas of opportunity to align Oracle’s Cloud applications for building optimal functional & technical solutions based on Industry Best Practices.
• Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations, present and articulate product features and benefits, and configure and test overall Oracle Cloud solutions that delight the clients
• Effectively utilize the Oracle Field Service Cloud platform along with other Oracle Integration and web technologies to deliver world class solutions
• Collaborate with Sales Teams to support business development efforts in pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
• Arrive at coherent conclusions by undertaking complex analysis/ application of reason / trace performance implications through complex data/scenarios
• Prepare documentation detailing delivered solutions, integration & migration strategies, throughout the engagement
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support business solutions in Oracle Field Service Cloud environments.
Technical Expertise:
• Knowledge/Experience with REST / SOAP APIs
• Testing OFS APIs via API platforms (e.g. Postman, SoapUI, etc.)
• Integration of OFS with custom applications
• Basic understanding of Middleware / Web Services
• Experience with OFS Mobile Plug-in Framework a plus
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• May assist with training members of the technical staff.
• May conduct interviews.
• Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
• May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Work Environment:
The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide an office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Bending, sitting lifting, driving.
Position Type and expected hours of work:
• Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.
• At least 5 years of related experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Oracle Field Service Cloud
