They take the burden of backend logistics off their clients’ hands, providing accurate, on-time order processing and delivery to delight customers and keep them coming back. Robust data collection through theirs proprietary technology supplies clients with meaningful insights into their business, and five conveniently located warehouses ensure fast time-to-home - wherever customers are located.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to support integrations and core platform initiatives for a logistics-focused fulfillment platform. This engagement is expected to last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and project priorities. PHP 8.x (8.2/8.3 preferred)
OOP, SOLID principles
Design Patterns
REST APIs / GraphQL
Microservices architecture
Authentication & Authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
Enterprise engineering skills also highlight API design, databases, OOP, architecture patterns, networking, authentication, and Unix/Linux
Position requirements
* Strong experience with PHP and modern backend development (at least 5+ years of hands-on coding experience)
* Solid experience with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
* Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
* Experience with integrations involving third-party systems and external services
* Strong knowledge of SQL databases and database design principles
* Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure experience is a plus)
* Understanding of software architecture and scalable application design
* Ability to ramp up quickly in an existing codebase
* Advanced English level
Nice to Have
* Experience in fast-paced product environments
* Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
* Experience with logistics or warehouse management systems
Position responsibilities
* Design and develop backend features in PHP
* Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs
* Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
* Collaborate closely with the VP of Tech and engineering team
* Ensure high code quality, reliability, and maintainability
* Contribute to performance optimization and system scalability
