The listing
We are looking for a Product Builder to join the Engage squad, responsible for the Data and Human Support products within the VTEX CX Platform. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and design, and is passionate about building digital products that deliver measurable business and customer impact.
You will lead the development of high-impact digital products with multidisciplinary teams, taking full ownership of operations, performance, and costs under a “you build it, you run it” mindset. We need someone who can connect vision to execution, make informed trade-offs, and drive initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment.
You will leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate prototyping, documentation, API development, and task automation, while maintaining strong fluency with engineering and design teams to ensure agile, high-quality delivery. Strong cross-functional collaboration, execution excellence, and a product mindset focused on outcomes are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsabilities
- Define product vision, metrics, and strategy based on real customer problems, usage data, and market trends — leading lean discovery processes that validate hypotheses through rapid AI-powered prototyping.
- Lead a stream-aligned squad, prioritize the backlog, remove blockers, and act hands-on in the development, testing, and launch of high-value increments, using AI agents to orchestrate and accelerate execution across the cycle.
- Produce requirements, diagrams, and documentation collaboratively and iteratively, with AI as a core accelerator — reducing friction and keeping engineering, design, and data teams aligned.
- Take full ownership of the product lifecycle ("you build it, you run it"), leveraging AI-powered observability and automation to monitor performance, costs, and reliability while driving continuous improvement.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and post-mortems) to promote transparency, continuous learning, and the delivery of tangible business value.
Who you are
- 2–3+ years of experience in software development or in product roles within digital products, such as Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or other positions embedded in software product teams.
- Real AI fluency: acts as an agent orchestrator, decomposing problems, delegating to AI systems, and combining outputs to multiply productivity.
- Hands-on background in software environments, comfortable with APIs, technical documentation, and integration flows.
- Able to define product vision, set metrics, and translate strategy into an executable roadmap with autonomy.
- Technical fluency: comfortable reading API specs (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks), running basic SQL/NoSQL queries, and discussing architecture trade-offs with engineering teams.
- Familiar with agile methodologies and experienced with plannings, dailies, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Strong communicator: able to simplify technical concepts into clear narratives for both teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable with product metrics and evidence-based decision making.
