The Opportunity
A seed-stage construction-tech company is building the AI operating system for commercial general contractors, and they need someone to own how every new customer gets live on it. This is a foundational hire: you'll design the onboarding motion from scratch, not inherit a checklist. Success in 90 days means you've taken customers from kickoff to real adoption; by 12 months you've built an AI-assisted onboarding engine that lets one person move faster than a whole traditional team.
What You'll Own
- Take every new customer from kickoff through go-live and into real day-to-day adoption
- Map a contractor's existing processes (bidding, project management, field, finance) and rebuild them as workflows inside the platform
- Use AI to automate the onboarding and support motion itself, so it scales without scaling headcount
- Lead onboarding and training sessions for very different audiences, from company owners to field crews to finance teams
- Build a library of reusable onboarding assets and keep sharpening them with AI
- Turn what you learn on the ground into clear PRDs that shape what product and engineering build next
- Run several customer onboardings at once without letting documentation quality slip
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years in onboarding, implementation, or customer success at a SaaS company
- You use AI tools hands-on every day to move faster, not occasionally, this is the core of the job
- A real track record of building or fixing onboarding processes, not just executing someone else's.
- Comfort running several client relationships in parallel without dropping the ball.
- Documentation and configuration work that's client-ready without a second person cleaning it up.
- Confident leading calls and training across very different stakeholder types.
Nice to Have
- Experience onboarding SMB customers
- You've written PRDs or worked closely with product and engineering
- Construction or proptech background

- Location: Remote, Latin America
- Time Zone: US overlap

About the Company
A seed-stage startup, recently funded by top-tier venture investors, building an AI platform for the commercial construction industry, a massive market still largely run on spreadsheets and group chats. The founding team are construction operators who scaled a real contracting business before building this, which gives them unusual credibility in a relationship-driven market. Small team, early stage, high ownership.
