This is an exciting opportunity to be the first Solutions Engineer in Japan working for a scaling technology company based in the United States. Our company (Antithesis) works with some of the most exciting companies in the world, helping ensure their software works perfectly. Whether in banking, entertainment, or defense, companies trust Antithesis as a partner to ensure their systems work perfectly.
About the role:
You’ll be the first Solutions Engineer hire in this region and will help shape how we operate in Japan. In this role, you will partner with Account Executives and channel partners to technically qualify opportunities, deliver product demos, and build best practices for proof-of-concept engagements. As the only technical voice in the Japanese market, you will play a key role in translating field feedback and customer needs into product roadmap input. What you learn in the field, and what Japanese customers specifically need will help drive our roadmap. In addition, you will enable our channel partners on Antithesis technology, property-based testing. And related best practices. . You will support our go to market team in prospecting and provide technical support to partners in sales engagements as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead proof-of-concept (POC) engagements: design and execute POCs that demonstrate Antithesis’ value to new customers
Support onboarding: help new customers embed Antithesis into their actual development workflow
Partner with the sales team: own technical qualification and consultation
Run customer workshops: on property-based testing (PBT) and other topics, delivered in Japanese
Find bugs: break open source software and surface real defects
Build, maintain, and demo the product
Help stand up the Japan market: as the first hire, build the technical practices and knowledge base for Japan
About Antithesis:
Antithesis builds an autonomous software testing platform that finds the bugs others miss. Our approach is fundamentally different from existing testing methods.
