Position : Construction Operations Coordinator
Salary : $1,500 - $1,800 AUD per month
Working Hours & Conditions : Australian Hours
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly organised Construction Operations Coordinator to support the Director across day-to-day project and operational activities.
This role will focus on scheduling, contractor coordination, follow-ups, communications, and construction administration. Over time, the successful candidate will take ownership of a larger portion of business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate project schedules, contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
- Follow up subcontractors and third parties to ensure actions are completed on time
- Manage schedule changes and communicate updates
- Convert site updates and voice notes into emails, action items, and task lists
- Assist with inbox management and day-to-day communications
- Maintain project records and operational documentation
- Help improve systems and operational processes
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience supporting Australian residential construction projects
- Experience in construction administration, project coordination, operations, or executive support
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Comfortable dealing with builders, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Able to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

- Follow-ups happen without being chased
- Project information is organised and up to date
- Communication is fast, professional, and accurate
- The Director spends more time on-site and less time on administration
