Position : Construction Project Administrator
Salary : $1,000 - $1,500 AUD per month
Working Hours & Conditions : Australian Hours
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly organized Construction Project Administrator to support our Australian project management team with project documentation, permit applications, council submissions, inspection coordination, and general administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare documentation for building permit applications and respond to RFIs.
- Prepare documentation for occupancy permit applications.
- Assist with applications to local councils and other authorities.
- Prepare and lodge service connection applications (water, sewer, electricity, telecommunications, etc.).
- Book and follow up required inspections.
- File, organize, and maintain project plans, permits, drawings, and project documentation.
- Track approvals, submissions, and outstanding actions.
- Provide general administrative support to Project Managers.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, architecture, engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF editing software.
Preferred
- Experience supporting Australian construction, engineering, or property development projects.
- Knowledge of building permits, occupancy permits, council approvals, and construction compliance processes.
