Position: Loan Application Specialist
Salary: PHP 61,000 - PHP 100,000 (depending on level of experience)
Working Hours & Conditions: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney Time (7:00 AM – 4:00PM PH Time)
Holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
OVERVIEW:
The Loan Application Specialist is responsible for submitting loan applications and monitoring them through to formal approval, providing support to the Brokers and Scenarios Team.
With a strong focus on fast and accurate loan submissions and approvals, you will provide support for Brokers and Scenarios Team members, arranging effective communication between Client, Lenders, Valuers and other Stakeholders, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
The role will work closely alongside the Scenarios Team to ensure that each application is submitted in a timely manner, resulting in a seamless process and a positive experience for our clients.
Essentially, you will become the “go-to” person for all matters relating to loan applications and approvals as well as contributing to the overall morale and productivity of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding lender requirements, application approval process.
- Ensuring exceptional quality of data entry and loan packaging
- Prioritising application submissions
- Responding quickly to client needs and missing information requested by the lender
- Gather more information required and rework to be minimised by getting application structured and submitted accurately
- Enter information in CRM system (ApplyOnline, Mercury & BrokerEngine)
- Prepare electronic or manual lodgement application forms
- Prepare all NCCP documents & attach to customer’s CRM system
- Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package
- Review loan application documentation and identify non-compliant and missing information
- Research applicant’s credit status and current financial position by reviewing their credit report and bank statements thoroughly
- Ensure that the application is compliant with the established regulations and policies of the lender.
- Order valuations and pricing discounts
- Prepare supporting documents in a single loan file and lodge the application to the Lender
- Complete quality control documentation/checklists
- Prepare FHOG/FHLDS documentations
- Prepare and administer Discharge Authority documentation
- Maintain and improve Atelier Wealth’s internal systems & processes
- Update Atelier Wealth’s CRM system (BrokerEngine)
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or tertiary education, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: minimum 2-3+ years as Loan Application Specialist or similar; prior experience in mortgage processing, loan applications, or financial services.
- Technical Skills: Experience using CRM systems such as ApplyOnline, Mercury, or BrokerEngine is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
- Communication skills – written & verbal English
- Strong cognitive abilities – verbal, numerical and data interpretation
- Ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, results-focused, and capable of managing multiple loan files simultaneously.
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
