Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is on the lookout for a Lead/Principal Front-End Architect to join our team and provide exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities
- Design and own front-end architecture using Next.js, React, and TypeScript for enterprise commerce solutions
- Lead architectural decisions around rendering strategies, including SSR, edge, and serverless
- Define approaches for state management, caching, and Core Web Vitals optimization
- Document key architectural decisions in ADRs
- Break down epics into clear, implementable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Estimate technical complexity and help resolve ambiguity before sprint execution
- Define coding standards, conventions, and engineering workflows optimized for both engineers and AI agents
- Collaborate directly with clients during discovery sessions
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture roadmaps
- Unblock distributed engineering teams and support delivery across multiple workstreams
- Clearly explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading front-end architecture decisions for distributed engineering teams of 3+ people
- Deep proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Strong experience with Next.js App Router and React Server Components
- Proven experience architecting enterprise commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, or similar
- Strong expertise in performance engineering and Core Web Vitals optimization, including LCP, CLS, INP, caching, and CDN
- Experience structuring specifications, documentation, and tasks for AI agent execution, such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to explain architectural decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or Contentstack
- Experience architecting headless commerce or composable storefronts
- Experience with Shopify Storefront API or Salesforce Commerce Cloud Composable Storefront
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with SCAYLE
- Experience working across async-first distributed teams in multiple time zones
