About Our Client

Role Overview
We’re looking for a full-time, long-term TypeScript/Next.js front-end developer to build and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces for our AI-powered video and image tools.
- Develop dynamic UIs using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, implementing SSR/SSG strategies and reusable component libraries.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces with strong attention to UI details, spacing, edge cases, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate with backend APIs for AI features like face swap and lip sync, optimizing performance and handling state management.
- Work in an existing production codebase, shipping small, clean PRs from detailed Linear/GitHub tickets with unit/integration tests.
- Collaborate in Agile processes (standups, code reviews), proactively asking clarifying questions and demonstrating strong English communication.
Requirements
- 3+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Strong English skills.
- Strong Next.js, TypeScript experience.
- Good product sense and attention to UX polish.
- Comfortable using Figma, GitHub, Slack, and Linear or similar tools.
- Proactive about asking clarifying questions before building.
- Reliable availability during Americas working hours (Magic Hour is based in PST).
- (Bonus) Prior long-term client or startup experience.
