The listing
Intetics Inc., a global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for a technically strong developer with a solid background in APIs, leadership-level experience in engineering environments, and a passion for building clean, scalable, and maintainable integration code. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams working on new Python-based integrations, working on our PHP core application, and building a new integration platform in Python
The Product is transforming how security and development teams manage vulnerabilities at scale. Our platform unifies vulnerability data across scanners and environments, enabling organizations to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities efficiently. Through our integrations, we empower customers to ingest data from their existing tools with minimal setup and maximum reliability.
As our ecosystem continues to expand, the integrations team plays a critical role in scaling our platform’s reach and value.
Role Overview
As an Integrations Engineer, you’ll be a core contributor to our integrations infrastructure. Your work will focus on developing and enhancing integrations that ingest data from external APIs, normalize it into our platform's schema, and ensure end-to-end reliability across different vendor products.
You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product management, and QA to ensure every integration is performant, scalable, and easy to support. You’ll also contribute to internal standards and tooling that improve how we test, release, and maintain integrations over time.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain integrations for ingesting vulnerability and asset data from major security platforms (e.g., Crowdstrike, Tenable.io, Wiz, Qualys, Rapid7, and more).
• Work directly with external REST APIs to extract, normalize, and transform data into platform-ready formats.
• Implement the architecture and design of new connectors and contribute to improving our internal connector framework.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, support, and platform engineering to ensure integrations are stable, scalable, and supportable.
• Build tooling and automation to support connector testing, validation, and CI/CD deployment.
• Support QA and customer support teams in diagnosing and resolving connector-related issues.
• Take ownership of reliability and observability in connector infrastructure (logging, metrics, error handling, etc.).
Requirements
Required Experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience with Python and dataframes libraries like pandas or polars.
• Experience with PHP and/or React.
• Deep understanding of working with REST APIs—authentication, pagination, ratelimiting, data normalization.
• Experience writing testable code, creating unit/integration tests, and mocking external APIs to validate workflows in a testing environment.
• Background in data transformation or ETL-style workflows.
• Proven ability to lead technical efforts or projects from design through release.
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with external systems and APIs.
Preferred Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with the Zend Framework ecosystem, especially Laminas Framework.
• Experience working with security tools such as Crowdstrike, Wiz, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience working with relational databases (SingleStore/MEMSQL a bonus)
• Background following Agile/Scrum methodologies in a professional setting
• Experience maintaining applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments
