The SDR is responsible for identifying and qualifying inbound and outbound sales opportunities. This role is the first point of contact for prospects and plays a critical role in driving the top of the sales funnel. You will work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to book meetings and build a pipeline of qualified leads.Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
Responsibilities
- Build lead lists using Websites, LinkedIn, Apollo, Crunchbase, or industry directories
- Research prospects to personalize outreach (company size, focus, pain points)
- Qualify inbound leads and determine fit based on company criteria
- Schedule consultations for the Sales Manager or In-person closing team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in a CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to follow up on campaigns and events
- Understand the company's offerings, ideal customer profile, and value proposition
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPI targets (calls, emails, meetings booked)
- Track and report outreach performance and lead conversion metrics
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of Sales Development experience in the with additional background in Customer Service or BPO roles preferred
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and cold calls
- Proficient in lead research and personalized outreach using tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Crunchbase)
- Experience using CRM systems (required)
- Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
System and Work Setup Requirements
- A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
- Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
- Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
- A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
