About the Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will provide comprehensive compliance and administrative support to internal teams by monitoring documentation, verifying required credentials and records, maintaining compliance files, and supporting audits and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

What Will You Be Doing Day to Day?

  • Review, verify, and maintain compliance-related documentation and records.
  • Ensure required licenses, certifications, credentials, and other supporting documents are current and properly documented.
  • Monitor compliance requirements and follow up with relevant stakeholders to obtain missing or updated documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date compliance files and databases.
  • Conduct regular audits of compliance records to identify gaps, discrepancies, or expired documentation.
  • Support internal compliance audits and provide documentation and reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance processes are followed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Coordinate with HR, Recruitment, Operations, and other internal teams to resolve compliance-related issues.
  • Prepare compliance reports, trackers, and status updates for management.
  • Escalate compliance gaps, risks, or exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders promptly.
  • Provide research and administrative support for compliance-related projects and process improvements.
  • Run all background checks for your team
  • Special projects - Ex: Flu annually 

Requirements

  • Your Experience
    • 1–3 years of experience in Compliance, HR, Recruitment, Credentialing, Healthcare Staffing, or a related administrative function.
    • Experience working with compliance documentation, audits, record management, or verification processes.
    • Working knowledge of HR and compliance processes and requirements.
    • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Your Skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organisational and record-management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
    • Prompt and professional communication.
    • Ability to identify discrepancies, gaps, and potential compliance risks.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
