Strong understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships; solid grasp of accounting principles (IFRS or GAAP) and the difference between management and statutory reporting
Hands-on experience with variance analysis: identifying drivers behind deviations, not just reporting the numbers

Structured approach to deadlines: ability to manage a recurring close/reporting calendar with multiple dependencies and deliver on time under pressure
Proactivity in process improvement: drive to automate, simplify, and strengthen reporting processes rather than maintain the status quo
Adaptability to a dynamic, scaling environment with evolving responsibilities and priorities
