We are seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic brand initiatives that elevate our market position and strengthen customer engagement. You will play a crucial role in shaping how our brand is perceived across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impact in all marketing communications. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in building and maintaining a strong, recognisable brand presence in a competitive landscape.
Key responsibilities:
Market Intelligence & Trend Research:
Familiarize with and work toward becoming the internal brand expert for the podcast and company brand. Continuously track competitor content behavior and industry movements to keep the brand relevant.
Brand Strategy & Podcast Positioning:
Define and maintain the core brand strategy, tone of voice, visual standards, and messaging pillars for the company brand and podcast. Ensure all produced content aligns seamlessly with company values, employer branding goals, and commercial objectives.
Content Planning & Editorial Direction:
Own the editorial podcast calendar and research relevant workplace, BPO, leadership, and outsourcing topics. Build comprehensive episode briefs (discussion flows, key takeaways, sample questions, and promotional hooks) and brief hosts, leadership, and guests prior to recording.
Copywriting & Promotional Content:
Write high-converting, platform-tailored copy including podcast titles, descriptions, captions, short-form video hooks, email blurbs, and social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Repurpose long-form episode discussions into snackable written assets, blogs, and thought leadership snippets.
Campaign Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment:
Project-manage podcast launch campaigns and episode rollouts. Coordinate cross-functionally with Multimedia, Design, HR, Operations, and external stakeholders to track asset status, manage approval workflows, and ensure on-time delivery across all marketing channels.
PR & Brand Visibility:
Develop and execute targeted PR initiatives to elevate the company's market presence, executive credibility, and industry positioning. Ensure all external communications and press releases align strictly with company messaging standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, communications, PR, social media, or a related role
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and brand identity
- Experience developing content calendars, campaign briefs, editorial plans, promotional concepts, and marketing campaigns
- Experience in podcast, video, digital content, or media marketing is highly preferred
- Ability to develop episode concepts, discussion guides, guest briefs, promotional angles, and content hooks
- Knowledge of PR and media relations, including press releases, media pitching, awards submissions, and executive positioning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar, proofreading, and editorial judgment
