We're looking for an experienced German-speaking recruiter to join our international team on a freelance basis.
This role is for someone who already understands recruitment. You should have previous experience from agency recruitment, international recruitment or another fast-paced recruitment environment where sourcing, candidate management, KPIs and placements are part of your everyday work.
You'll have plenty of support from the team, but we're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their own desk and driving their own results.
About the Role
As an International Freelance Recruiter, you'll manage your own candidate pipeline and recruit primarily for language-based roles across Europe.
You'll be expected to work proactively, understand where your candidates need to come from and take responsibility for moving your recruitment processes forward.
During your first three months, you'll receive a monthly onboarding bonus, while learning our clients, processes and tools. After this period, the role continues on a commission basis with no earning cap.
You should be comfortable dedicating around 30-40 hours per week to the role, as this is what will be needed to be successful in the role.
What You'll Do
- Source and headhunt German-speaking candidates across Europe
- Recruit candidates in English for other language-based positions
- Screen CVs and conduct candidate interviews
- Assess motivation, suitability and relocation readiness
- Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Build and maintain your own candidate pipeline
- Work proactively towards weekly and monthly KPIs
- Collaborate with the team on client requirements and open positions
- Follow up with candidates throughout onboarding and after placement
Requirements
You:
- Speak German at native or near-native level
- Have a strong level of English
- Have previous professional recruitment experience
- Ideally come from agency recruitment, international recruitment or high-volume recruitment
- Have hands-on experience with sourcing and headhunting
- Are comfortable working towards KPIs, targets and placements
- Know how to manage and prioritise your own recruitment pipeline
- Are highly self-motivated and don't need someone else to constantly tell you what to do next
- Take ownership when something isn't working and actively look for another approach
- Are comfortable working independently in a performance-driven environment
This Role Will Suit You If...
You like having freedom and responsibility in equal measure.
We don't micromanage, but that also means you'll need to be comfortable taking the wheel yourself, planning your activity, following up with candidates, adjusting your sourcing strategy and understanding what needs to happen to reach your targets.
If you're used to agency recruitment and enjoy the satisfaction of turning your own pipeline into placements, you'll probably feel at home here.
