About the Role
This role sits at the technical intersection of product and customer deployments for a fast-growing AI phone automation platform serving small and medium-sized businesses. You will own end-to-end deployments, from requirements capture through integrations, glue code, and monitoring, and feed learnings directly back into the product. It is a high-impact position on a small, high-velocity team where your work ships to real customers in production.
What You'll Do
Act as the technical bridge between product and customer setups, translating requirements into robust implementations.
Lead production rollouts of AI assistant configurations, including workflows, logic, data flows, prompts, and guardrails.
Implement integrations with third-party systems via APIs, webhooks, and common services such as CRMs, calendars, ticketing, and payments.
Develop small-to-medium features and glue code to map customer use cases to production systems, with tests, monitoring, and logging.
Debug live issues across calls, flows, and data, and deploy rapid fixes under production conditions.
Build reusable templates, deployment playbooks, and best practices to make setups scalable and repeatable.
Maintain a fast feedback loop into product by surfacing pain points, feature gaps, and recurring patterns with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For
Several years of practical experience capturing customer requirements and translating them into production implementation plans.
Production experience with LLM-based applications, including prompting, tool use, RAG, evaluation, and failure modes.
Hands-on API, webhook, and third-party integration experience, including common auth patterns such as OAuth and API keys.
Strong coding ability to implement glue code and features, plus testing, monitoring, and logging experience.
Cloud fundamentals covering deployments, observability, and production debugging.
German proficiency at B2 level or above (exceptional candidates without German may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset that emphasizes shipping fast and iterating.
Bonus: voice or telephony integration experience, workflow automation tools, TypeScript or Python, SQL, or GDPR/privacy considerations.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 60,000 to 90,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Fully remote, based in Germany or Austria.
