We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, implementation, and manufacturing.
ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution, through the design, development, and validation of the electrical systems of the Iron Air Battery, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for power, control, and monitoring systems.
- Perform short-circuit, overcurrent, and ground fault analyses to ensure system safety.
- Select electrical components (e.g., relays, fuses, transformers) based on technical requirements.
- Validate designs through laboratory testing (e.g., insulation, dielectric strength).
- Collaborate with CAE and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems.
- Document technical specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEC 61439, UL 508A).
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in AUTOCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Solidworks Electrical or related.
- Knowledge of electrical standards such as NEC, IEC, UL and component selection.
- Ability to review electrical diagrams with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to participate in electrical safety reviews and risk analyses (e.g., FMEA).
- Support certification documentation (e.g., UL, IEC).
- English level B2–C1.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronics.
- Knowledge in SCADA/PLC.
- Hands-on experience with corrosive/hight-temperature design
- Knowledge in Python/LabVIEW
