About the Role
This is a first Account Executive seat at an early-stage AI startup, meaning you will own the entire revenue engine from day one. You will work directly alongside the founders to build pipeline, close enterprise deals, and lay the foundation for a repeatable go-to-market motion. Your output will have an immediate and visible impact on company growth.
What You'll Do
Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close.
Act as your own SDR by researching target accounts and executing outbound campaigns to build a robust enterprise pipeline from scratch.
Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving HR leaders, CFOs, and IT procurement teams.
Partner with founders to refine the ideal customer profile, test messaging, and build the foundational sales playbook.
Translate customer pain points into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven track record closing complex enterprise deals (strong candidates with fewer years and demonstrated hunter-and-closer results will be considered).
Hunter mentality with demonstrated success generating leads and building pipeline independently.
Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-suite and procurement teams.
Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong problem-solving instincts.
Prior startup or early-stage company experience is important; an exclusively large-enterprise background is not a strong fit for this role.
Experience selling into HR, Finance, or AI domains is a plus.
Familiarity building or refining sales playbooks and ICP frameworks is a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $75,000 to $140,000 USD annually, plus commission. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Remote within the United States.
