The listing
LightFeather is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, and optimization of multiple platforms. You will focus on improving system reliability, handling degraded services, and optimizing internal production processes. This is a long-term project that requires candidates who thrive in a collaborative team culture. This is a Full-Time, Remote Position.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $120,000–$125,000 annually
- Clearance Requirement: U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to federal contract requirements and the need to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS, and Cloudflare/Akamai.
- Optimize system reliability and security through PrismaCloud/Twistlock, Rancher/EKS, and Encrypted Email.
- Maintain infrastructure using Docker, Ruby, and configuration management tools.
- Enhance monitoring and logging solutions using New Relic, Splunk, and Tenable.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, and containerization.
- Experience with Jenkins, Tenable, PrismaCloud/Twistlock, Akamai/Cloudflare, Rancher/EKS, Encrypted Email, Jumpbox, Docker, and Ruby.
- Experience with network security, monitoring tools, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot system-level issues.
- Detailed documentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and client-facing skills.
