The listing

Responsibilities:

  • Assist efforts in the development and implementation of the global Compliance Risk Management Program, intended to identify, assess, manage and monitor Compliance Risk robustly.

  • Assist with the process of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) EWRA on at least an annual basis, applying AI/GenAI tooling — where appropriate — to accelerate horizon scanning, typology research, regulatory change analysis, and first-draft narrative production, while preserving methodological rigour, defensibility, and a clear audit trail.

  • Lead Risk Assessment of additional Financial Crime segments that are not yet integrated into the AFC EWRA Program as required: Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, Market Abuse, etc.

  • Liaise with the Business Unit Compliance team to participate in the risk assessment of new, changing, or existing products, i.e. Product Risk Assessments.

  • Work with stakeholders such as Product, Local Entity Compliance and Central Compliance teams, the business, and the wider team to document and maintain control inventories, adherence to regulatory requirements, and alignment with external and internal policy frameworks.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across varying levels globally to ensure risk assessment methodology and execution meets expectations and needs.

  • Support the regional, business and product teams in developing and managing policies, procedures, and processes used for risk mitigation and ongoing compliance risk assurance — i.e. building out the Compliance Risk control environment.

  • Assist with all pillars of the developed Compliance Risk Management framework (e.g. Regulatory Risk Management), including but not limited to horizon scanning (including AML and CFT), regulatory perimeter, and impact assessments on upcoming regulatory changes.

  • Embed AI-enabled techniques into EWRA workstreams — including data triangulation, control mapping, and typology synthesis — under a clear human-in-the-loop review model, ensuring outputs are validated, source-traceable, and defensible to internal audit and regulators.

  • Assist with the development of timely, effective, and efficient management information on Compliance Risk insights and performance.

  • Produce MI/metrics, to be provided to senior management on a continuous basis, outlining areas of heightened risk and status of recommendations from the AFC EWRA exercise.

  • Monitor and report RAS KRIs on an ongoing basis, with clear recommendations where risk levels are outside the set appetite.

  • Requirements:

    • Degree in business management, finance, or economics.

    • Advanced professional risk certificate is preferred (e.g. CAMS-RM).

    • 5+ years as a compliance professional in a regulated financial services environment; Crypto industry experience is preferred.

    • 2+ years of direct experience in Compliance Risk and EWRA implementation.

    • Practical AI and GenAI literacy — including prompt engineering, tool selection, output validation, and a clear-eyed understanding of model limitations and hallucination risk in a compliance context.

    • Familiarity with AI governance and Responsible AI principles — bias, explainability, auditability, and model risk — and how these apply to their use in compliance and risk assessment workflows.

    • Data literacy sufficient to interrogate, stress-test, and evidence AI-generated outputs before they are relied upon in a risk assessment.

    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organisation while maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locations.

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a format digestible by a diverse audience.

    • Proactive, diligent team player.
