About the role
We are looking for a Junior Product Designer to join our Product team and help shape the everyday experience of Globalli's platform — from onboarding flows to the dashboards our customers rely on to manage a global workforce. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to turn real user problems into clear, usable interfaces.
This is a great fit for someone early in their design career who thinks in systems, sweats the details, and wants mentorship and ownership in equal measure. We care more about the strength of your portfolio and your design thinking than your exact years of experience.
You will report directly to our Head of Product.
What you'll do
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for new and existing product features, from early concept through shipped experience
- Contribute to and help maintain our design system in Figma, keeping components and patterns consistent as the product grows
- Partner with product managers and engineers throughout the product development cycle — from requirements through implementation and QA
- Conduct lightweight user research and usability checks, and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements
- Prepare polished, developer-ready designs and specs, and stay engaged during implementation to protect design quality
- Help translate complex workflows (like multi-entity onboarding or payroll operations) into interfaces that feel simple
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio demonstrating product/UX design thinking — process, not just polish
- Proficiency in Figma (prototyping, components, and design systems)
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design fundamentals
- Clear communication skills — you can explain your design decisions and take feedback well
- Comfort working async and independently as part of a distributed, remote-first team
- Curiosity about B2B/SaaS products, payroll, HR tech, or workforce management is a plus, but not required
We welcome applicants at any stage of their design career — recent graduates, bootcamp grads, and self-taught designers with a compelling portfolio are all encouraged to apply.
