About the Role:
We're looking for a UI Engineer to help design and build the next generation of user experiences at Atolio. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create intuitive, high-performance applications that power AI-driven workflows.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building complex web applications, frontend architecture, and user-facing product experiences. You'll contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to performance optimization and user experience improvements.
You'll join a modern engineering environment that embraces the latest technologies, AI-assisted development workflows, and rapid iteration.
What You'll Do
Design and build high-quality user interfaces for complex web applications for responsive platforms like desktop and mobile.
Develop scalable frontend architecture and reusable component systems.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
Build user experiences that leverage AI and agent-driven workflows.
Use modern AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve development velocity and code quality.
Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering planning.
Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
Contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and code reviews.
Help shape the future direction of our product and user experience.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
Experience building modern web applications using React, Vue, Angular, or a similar frontend framework.
Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architecture.
Strong understanding of component-based development and state management patterns.
Experience working closely with product and design teams.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows.
Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite.
Experience writing and maintaining end-to-end tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with Svelte or interest in learning it quickly.
