Summary

As an HR Implementation Consultant, you'll lead clients through the configuration and rollout of Deel Local Payroll's HR modules, including Performance Management, Breezy, Workforce Planning, and Org Chart. You'll assess each client's current HR processes, translate their requirements into a working blueprint, and guide them from kickoff through go-live. This role calls for strong HR domain knowledge, technical configuration skills, and confident client communication. You'll help clients get the most out of Deel's HR suite, driving better people processes, cleaner data, and a stronger employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Discovery & requirements analysis: Run structured discovery sessions to understand each client's HR structure, current tools, and process gaps across performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, and org design. Translate findings into a clear implementation blueprint.

  • Blueprint & documentation: Create thorough documentation covering requirements, configuration decisions, and project changes. Maintain an up-to-date project repository to support handover and future reference.

  • Module configuration: Configure the relevant HR modules to match each client's requirements:

  • Performance Management (the majority of new implementations) — set up individual KPIs and 360-degree surveys.

  • Breezy — configure the external recruitment system and its integration into Deel Local Payroll.

  • Workforce Planning — implement job management and budget costing on Deel Local Payroll.

  • Org Chart — activate the API and troubleshoot related configuration issues.

  • Testing & quality assurance: Validate each configuration against the agreed blueprint, testing workflows end to end before they reach the client.

  • Training delivery: Build training materials and lead training sessions so client teams can confidently manage their HR modules after go-live.

  • Go-live support: Guide clients through go-live, resolving issues in real time and confirming that every module performs as configured.

  • Existing customer support: Work through customer support tickets for live clients, troubleshooting configuration issues and answering module-specific questions.

  • Portfolio management: Manage a portfolio of client implementations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all assigned projects.

  • Billable hours target: Consistently meet your monthly billable hours target, tracking and logging time against client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing HR systems or modules such as performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, or org design tools.

  • 3+ years of experience in implementation consulting, project management, or a similar client-facing role.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, HRIS systems, or HR technology more broadly.

  • Proven experience managing client relationships and guiding clients through an implementation process from kickoff to go-live.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and multiple priorities at once.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, including API-level configuration issues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).

  • Comfortable working toward monthly billable hours targets in a client-facing consulting environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings or on-site implementations (if applicable).

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

  • Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.

  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.

  • We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
