The listing
We are seeking an Executive Assistant / Business Support Assistant to provide direct support to the founder in managing emails, priorities, tasks, and day-to-day business administration. The role will also support reporting, data management, basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and operational coordination, with opportunities to take on additional commercial responsibilities as the business grows.
- Manage and monitor the founder’s inbox, prioritising emails, identifying key actions, and ensuring important matters are addressed.
- Support the founder’s time, tasks, and priorities through proactive coordination and regular communication.
- Prepare sales, performance, and business reports using data from CRM and accounting systems.
- Collate, organise, and present business data and records clearly and accurately.
- Provide general administrative and operational support, including data entry and ad hoc business tasks.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoice entry, accounts administration, and payment preparation.
- Gradually support commercial administration, including quote preparation and other business activities as familiarity with the organisation increases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Administrative, or similar support role.
- Strong experience managing executive inboxes, email triage, priorities, and competing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence working directly with founders or senior decision-makers.
- Experience with CRM and accounting systems, including basic reporting, data handling, and record management.
- Exposure to basic bookkeeping, invoice entry, accounts administration, sales reporting, or commercial support.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team; product-based, medical, or disability-sector experience is advantageous.
