Recognised as one of G2's Top 100 Fastest Growing Software Products, we're on a mission to break down geographical barriers and create a world where exceptional talent can thrive anywhere.
From hiring and onboarding to payroll, compliance, and financial services, we give organisations everything they need to build high-performing global teams, and give workers worldwide access to opportunities that were once out of reach.
We're backed by world-class investors including EBRD Venture Capital, 500 Global, Endeavor Catalyst, BECO Capital, Wamda Capital, 212 VC, Oraseya Capital, Khwarizmi Ventures, and Access Bridge Ventures.
About the Role
RemotePass supports workers in more than 150 countries, and immigration is one of the most complex parts of making that work. We're hiring a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to own our most complex, highest-risk immigration cases end to end and be the go-to expert for the wider Mobility team.
You'll run your own caseload of work permits, visas, extensions, and status changes. You'll also be the escalation point when cases get complicated, and the mentor junior specialists turn to for a steer. You'll work closely with Legal, HR, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition, as well as external immigration counsel and government agencies worldwide.
This isn't a legal role, but it does demand real depth. You'll need hands-on immigration compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions and the confidence to bring structure to ambiguous, high-pressure cases.
What You'll Do
- Own complex cases. Manage work permits, visas, extensions, renewals, status changes, and immigration assessments end to end, with a focus on complex and high-risk cases. Track expiry dates and start renewals early so nothing lapses.
- Be the escalation point. Handle escalations from employees, managers, and external providers. Advise the Onboarding, Offboarding, and Lifecycle teams on eligibility, documentation, and compliance for hires, transfers, and relocations.
- Lead compliance and risk. Keep our immigration processes compliant with global, regional, and local rules. Spot risks and delays across the caseload early, monitor policy changes, and brief leadership on what they mean.
- Own the immigration knowledge base. Keep country requirements, processing times, and procedures accurate, validating them with external counsel and government agencies. Turn that knowledge into clear guidance for internal teams and employees.
- Mentor and build relationships. Review and coach Junior Global Mobility Specialists, and support the Lifecycle team during peak periods. Build strong relationships with external counsel, vendors, and government representatives.
- Improve how we work. Track processing times, approval rates, and bottlenecks across regions. Design process improvements that make mobility faster, more compliant, and easier for employees.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years managing complex, cross-border immigration cases, ideally at an EOR, global mobility firm, immigration consultancy, or in-house mobility function.
- Strong working knowledge of immigration compliance and cross-border workforce requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience managing external immigration counsel and working with government agencies internationally.
- Experience mentoring junior team members or reviewing their work.
- Practical understanding of data privacy as it applies to employee immigration records.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, fully remote, high-growth environment.
- Fluent in English. Another language is a plus.
You'll Thrive in This Role If
- You like owning complex, ambiguous cases with minimal oversight.
- You can turn complex immigration rules into plain guidance for non-experts.
- You spot risk before it becomes a problem.
- You'd rather improve a process than just follow it.
Benefits
Why Join RemotePass?
- Be the senior immigration expert for a workforce spanning 150+ countries, with a real say in mobility strategy and process.
- Mentor junior specialists and help shape how a growing team works.

- Real global scale. We support 35,000+ workers in 150+ countries and have processed over $800M in cross-border payroll for companies like Logitech, Tata Group, and Careem.
- Big bets ahead. We're expanding across Europe and the US, building financial products for distributed teams, and investing heavily in AI. There's a lot to build, and room to grow with it.
- Remote-first, for real. We don't just sell remote work, we live it. Work from anywhere.
- Inclusion matters. We value different perspectives and empower everyone to bring their authentic self to work.
