Who We Are Looking For
AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Lead Advanced Analytics professional to help build the supply chain of the future. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep analytical expertise with strong technical capabilities across data, artificial intelligence, automation, and solution delivery.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders and technology teams to transform complex supply chain and business challenges into scalable analytics, AI-driven solutions, intelligent workflows, and decision-support tools. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while driving measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- As a Lead Advanced Analytics professional, you will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and modern data technologies to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Advanced Analytics & Decision Support
- Gather, analyze, and interpret large, diverse datasets to solve complex business challenges.
- Identify trends, causal relationships, risks, and opportunities through statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Apply forecasting, optimization, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques to support data-driven decision making.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that improve operational and business outcomes.
- Analytics & AI Solution Design
- Design and implement scalable end-to-end analytics solutions that integrate: Data and analytical models Machine Learning Generative AI Data visualization Workflow automation Business rules and decision logic
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, solution architectures, implementation plans, and measurable success metrics.
- Generative AI & Intelligent Automation
- Develop and operationalize Generative AI, machine learning, and agent-enabled solutions.
- Build solutions grounded in trusted enterprise knowledge and data.
- Establish governance, testing, monitoring, evaluation, security, and human-review controls.
- Implement modern AI architectures leveraging: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Model Context Protocol (MCP) Agent-to-Agent (A2A) interactions Agent harnesses and orchestration frameworks
- Data Products & Analytics Engineering
- Build and support reusable: Data products Semantic models Data pipelines Integrations Dashboards and visualizations
- Utilize modern analytics technologies including Python, SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, Power BI, and related platforms.
- Apply development best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and repeatable deployment processes.
- Technical Product & Delivery Leadership
- Lead large-scale analytics and AI initiatives from concept through production.
- Drive discovery, business-case development, design, implementation, adoption, and support.
- Manage priorities, dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership while guiding complex solutions to successful outcomes.
- Business Partnership & Value Realization
- Act as a trusted bridge between: Business stakeholders Supply chain leaders Data engineers Analytics teams Technology partners Executive leadership
- Communicate analytical findings and technical tradeoffs clearly and effectively.
- Mentor team members and help establish scalable analytics and AI practices.
- Ensure delivered solutions generate measurable business value and adoption

Required Qualifications
Education-Bachelor's degree desired from an accredited university in a quantitative or technical discipline such as: Data Science Computer Science Mathematics Statistics Engineering Physics Operations Research Information Systems Related field
Experience- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Advanced Analytics Data Science Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Technology Product Management Business Transformation Software Development Related technical fields
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- 5+ years of advanced analytics, data science, analytics engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML experience.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with: Python and/or R Advanced SQL Statistical analysis Machine learning Forecasting Predictive modeling Optimization techniques
- Data Platforms & Analytics Solutions
- Experience designing and delivering analytics solutions utilizing: Oracle Snowflake Databricks Azure AWS Relational databases and modern cloud platforms
- Experience developing production-ready data products, visualizations, APIs, workflow automations, and AI-powered decision support solutions.
- Generative AI
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing production-oriented Generative AI solutions using: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) MCP Agent tools and skills API integrations Prompt engineering Context engineering Single-agent and multi-agent orchestration
- Software Development Practices
Experience with:
- Git Testing frameworks Documentation standards Agile methodologies Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Leadership & Business Impact
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous business challenges through implementation and measurable business results.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain analytical findings and technical tradeoffs to both technical audiences and executive leadership.
