The listing
This role combines supplier quality management with product compliance to ensure that suppliers meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements. It is essential for improving efficiency, maintaining quality compliance, and supporting supplier quality through proper documentation.
Job Description:
· Manage supplier and item databases by creating, updating, and deactivating records in both the Document Management System (DMS) and the ERP system.
· Establish and maintain up-to-date supplier information in accordance with the organization's Supplier Approval Policy.
· Review documentation submitted by suppliers to ensure compliance with established company requirements.
· Qualify new suppliers based on their location and products, particularly in the life sciences sector, ensuring they meet company standards.
· Collect and maintain necessary and updated documents to fulfill customer expectations.
· Monitor supplier document compliance with regulations set forth by the FDA, USDA, and other applicable agencies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory requirements and customer documentation needs are met.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree – preferably science-related
· Knowledge of food safety and quality systems
· Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers.
· Ability to interpret other countries' regulations.
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
· Confident working with foreign suppliers.
· Ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
· Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and meet regulatory and customer deadlines.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with autonomy.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
