We are Hiring: Marketing Specialist (Remote, Pakistan)
Engagement: Full time, remote
Experience: 4-5 years
About
Our client is a historic landmark hotel in the heart of Mildura's shopping and dining precinct, a short stroll from the Murray River, and has overlooked the city since 1889.
With 99 rooms and suites, eight function halls, art deco conference and wedding spaces, a rose garden courtyard, and an outdoor pool, it hosts leisure guests, corporate groups, weddings, and events. On site are The Spanish Grill, an award-winning charcoal-fired steakhouse with over 23 years of history, and the Coffee Palace cafe.
The Role
The hotel is looking for a Marketing Specialist to look after the hotel's website, run its social media, and drive new bookings and customers through paid ads. The role also covers social media for the hotel's two on-site venues, The Spanish Grill and the Coffee Palace, so the specialist needs to be comfortable running three distinct brands under one roof.
Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is ideal, along with an open mind for new ideas that help the business grow and strengthen its brand.
Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Updates
Keep the hotel's website accurate, current, and working hard as a booking and enquiry channel.
- Maintain and update the website, including rooms, offers, What's On, weddings, and conference pages
- Keep content, imagery, and information fresh so it reflects the quality of the hotel
Hotel Social Media
Own the hotel's social presence and build a consistent, recognisable brand.
- Plan and post consistent content across the hotel's social channels
- Showcase rooms, weddings, conferences, events, and the hotel's history and character
Restaurant & Cafe Social Media
Manage the social channels of the hotel's on-site venues, each with its own voice.
- Manage social media for The Spanish Grill, promoting its charcoal-grill dining and private dining
- Manage social media for the Coffee Palace cafe
- Keep each venue distinct while staying consistent with the wider brand
Paid Advertising
Use paid ads to gain traction and bring in new customers across the hotel and its venues.
- Plan, run, and optimise Meta Ads campaigns to drive direct bookings, function and wedding enquiries, and restaurant and cafe visits
Growth & Brand Ideas
Bring fresh thinking, not just execution.
- Suggest new ideas for business growth and branding, and take ownership of running the ones that get the go ahead
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry
- Strong social media content skills, with experience managing more than one brand or venue
- Proven experience running Meta Ads with measurable results
- Comfortable maintaining and updating a website (the hotel's site is built on Webflow) without needing a developer for everyday changes
- Open to new ideas and proactive about suggesting ways to grow the business and its brand
To Apply
Share examples of social media and paid ads work you have done for a hotel, restaurant, cafe, or similar hospitality business, along with any results you can point to.
Note: This role is filled through HireGummy's specialist placement process. Candidates are vetted for skills, experience, and communication before being presented to the client.
