About the Role

We’re looking for a Web Analytics Analyst to help our web experience and marketing teams understand how customers engage with our digital experiences. In this role, you’ll translate complex behavioral data into clear insights that guide website strategy, marketing decisions, and experience improvements.

You’ll evaluate website performance, analyze customer journeys and conversion funnels, measure experiments, and investigate emerging trends. You’ll collaborate with marketing, web, product, and operations partners to define success metrics and turn data into practical recommendations.

What You'll Do

  • Measure the impact of website initiatives, marketing programs, design changes, and cross-functional projects.
  • Analyze customer journeys, engagement patterns, conversion funnels, traffic sources, and page-level performance.
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate A/B tests and other web experiments.
  • Use web and behavioral analytics platforms to investigate usability, engagement, and conversion behavior.
  • Produce recurring reports covering website engagement, session patterns, funnel performance, and emerging trends.
  • Translate loosely defined stakeholder questions into structured analytical plans.
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations to identify performance issues, behavioral gaps, and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with marketing, web, product, and operations stakeholders to establish measurement requirements and success metrics.
  • Analyze connections among web traffic, lead sources, customer behavior, and downstream sales-funnel performance.
  • Develop dashboards, data summaries, and written recommendations that make complex findings accessible to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Monitor analytics data for outages, anomalies, tracking issues, and unexpected performance changes.
  • Document measurement approaches, analytical findings, and repeatable reporting processes.

What You'll Bring

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in web analytics, digital analytics, marketing analytics, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics or a comparable web analytics platform.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, formulas, and data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of website engagement, conversion rates, click-through rates, customer journeys, and funnel analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and evaluating A/B tests.
  • Working knowledge of statistical concepts, including significance, confidence intervals, sample size, and statistical power.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
  • Experience supporting marketing, growth, ecommerce, or web experience teams.
  • Ability to transform raw data into concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tell a clear story through data.
  • Ability to independently prioritize work across multiple stakeholders and concurrent requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FullStory or another behavioral or session-analytics platform.
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience querying large datasets.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another business-intelligence platform.
  • Experience with Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Ninetailed, or a comparable experimentation platform.
  • Familiarity with SEO analytics, ecommerce analytics, or authenticated customer experiences.
  • Experience analyzing web-generated leads and sales-funnel performance.
  • Experience supporting technology, developer-focused, or similarly complex digital products.
