We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at D2B, supporting the delivery of complex Australian or New Zealand HV infrastructure projects.
This is a remote-based leadership role focused on establishing and improving engineering systems, processes, and technical delivery standards across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how electrical engineering is executed within the organisation, particularly within the HV substation environment.
In this position, you will lead the development of engineering systems and frameworks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry best practices. You will bring deep expertise in high-voltage (HV) electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of substation design and civil interface coordination.
You will oversee technical design reviews, manage external consultants and subcontractors, and provide guidance to ensure quality and consistency across all engineering outputs. In addition, you will mentor and support a growing internal engineering team, helping build capability and technical excellence within the organization.
Position: Electrical Engineering Manager
Salary: PHP275,000 - PHP306,000/month
Working Hours & Conditions: AU/NZ business hours; Mondays to Fridays, 6:00AM to 3:00PM PH time; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:
- Engineering Leadership
- Establish and maintain engineering systems, standards, and procedures.
- Provide technical oversight across projects from feasibility through to construction and commissioning.
- Lead technical reviews and ensure quality across engineering deliverables.
- Define and improve engineering workflows, tools, and documentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Support the development and capability building of engineering teams.
- Oversee and coordinate external consultants and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering environment.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
- Project & Stakeholder Support
- Support project delivery teams with technical input and oversight.
- Contribute to planning, scoping, and technical input for proposals and tenders.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties as required.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within high-voltage or power systems.
- Previous experience in a similar senior engineering or technical leadership role.
- Strong understanding of transmission infrastructure, substations, and grid connection projects.
- Ability to review and oversee both primary and secondary engineering disciplines.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) highly preferred.
- Familiarity with civil and electrical interface coordination in infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage external consultants or contractors.
