The listing
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Nearshore Data Expert/Specialist (m/f/d) to lead data cleansing, assessment, and defect analysis activities in preparation for data migration to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in data quality management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including offshore resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Assessment & Analysis: Evaluate existing data within the source system to identify data elements, assess data quality, understand data structures, and uncover dependencies.
- Data Cleansing & Quality Management: Identify and resolve data issues such as duplicates, missing values, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Ensure only high-quality, reliable data is migrated.
- Country-specific Data Packages: Prepare and facilitate data cleansing activities for each country, coordinating with respective teams to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Statistical & Progress Reporting: Develop and maintain tracking sheets or dashboards for data quality metrics and communicate progress and issues with the project team.
- Data Issue & Defect Management: Track, manage, and resolve data quality issues and defects identified during or after the migration process. Conduct post-migration defect analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Documentation & Readiness: Ensure all migration documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for execution.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Coordinate data mapping requests from various streams, ensuring file completeness
- Collaboration with Functional Teams: Work closely with Business Process Teams and SAP Functional Consultants .
- Migration Support & Cutover: Assist with data migration cutover activities, including validation and post-migration validation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data assessment, cleansing, and quality management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, reconcile data, and present insights through clear, easy-to-understand visualizations
- Strong MS Office knowledge and experience
- Experience extracting data from ECC would be advantageous
- Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models and master data.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, capable of managing plans, tracking progress, and working with offshore teams.
- Experience in defect analysis, trend identification, and continuous improvement.
- SNP Data Migration experience is beneficial
