Are you a highly motivated Software Test Automation Engineer with German with a passion for developing and maintaining automation tests? We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on automation tests for our company's applications and collaborate with a major client project team.

What You'll Do:

  • Designing and developing automated tests for large-scale web-based applications;
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests in close collaboration with the development team;
  • Automating test execution and reporting results to the development team;
  • Contributing to the growth of testing procedures and methodologies.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment;
  • Fluency in English; German knowledge is considered a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automation testing;
  • Knowledge of Software Life Cycle (SLC), Continuous Integration (CI) as well as Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies/strategies;
  • Programming preferably using Javascript, Typescript, Java;
  • SQL Scripting;
  • Fluency in German (at least C1) mandatory; knowledge of English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • E2E testing preferably using any Test Automation Framework (e.g. Cypress, Webdriverio);
  • Mobile testing (e.g. Appium);
  • Basic knowledge in frontend unit testing;
  • Basic knowledge in backend unit and integration testing (e.g. Junit , TestNG);
  • Mocking tools (e.g. Mockito, Wiremock);
  • API testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured);
  • Load and stress testing tools (e.g. JMeter);
  • Docker;
  • Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines executed in Jenkins slaves.
