Responsibilities
Product ownership of Backlog of Analytics Module
- Define the product vision and strategy for Reporting & Analytics.
- Own and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog.
- Translate client and business needs into product requirements, user stories, and analytical capabilities.
- Lead product discovery together with clients, internal stakeholders, and Product Owners.
- Identify the key reporting and analytical jobs-to-be-done for Operators.
- Define reporting UX, workflows, drill-down capabilities, filters, exports, and self-service analytics.
- Work closely with Product Design and Engineering to deliver intuitive reporting experiences rather than simply exposing raw data.
- Define requirements for data availability, freshness, granularity, performance, and accuracy from a product perspective.
- Drive the Reporting module through the full product lifecycle: discovery → prioritization → delivery → adoption → measurement → iteration.
- Define product KPIs for the Reporting & Analytics module, including adoption, usage, engagement, performance, and customer value.
- Collect client feedback and usage data to continuously improve the module.
- Product Analytics for the Product Department
- Build and own the product analytics framework used by Product Owners across the organization.
- Define a consistent framework for measuring product performance.
- Establish standard product metrics and measurement principles.
Build dashboards and analytical tools for:
- feature adoption and usage
- funnels and conversion
- retention and cohorts
- engagement
- monetization
- product and feature performance
Partner with Product Owners to define success metrics before development starts.
- Ensure major product releases and initiatives have appropriate measurement plans.
- Support Product Owners with hypothesis validation and feature impact analysis.
- Help teams distinguish between output metrics and actual product/business outcomes.
- Enable Product Owners to independently access and interpret the data required for everyday product decisions.
Experimentation & Product Discovery
- Develop a systematic approach to experimentation and evidence-based product development.
- Establish an A/B testing and experimentation framework.
- Define standards for hypotheses, experiment design, success metrics, statistical interpretation, and post-experiment analysis.
- Support Product Owners in designing experiments and evaluating results.
- Use behavioral and product data to identify new product opportunities and pain points.
- Combine quantitative analytics with qualitative insights from clients and users.
- Promote continuous discovery based on product data rather than ad-hoc reporting requests.
BI Strategy & Data Architecture
- Define and execute BI strategy across the company
- Partner with Data/Engineering teams to ensure that the underlying data foundation supports both client-facing reporting and internal product analytics.
- Define business and product requirements for analytical data models.
- Establish consistent metric definitions and ownership.
- Ensure a single source of truth for critical product and business metrics.
- Define requirements for data quality, availability, freshness, and traceability.
- Identify gaps in tracking and instrumentation and drive their resolution with Engineering.
- Ensure new features include appropriate analytics instrumentation as part of their delivery.
The role is expected to own analytical requirements and product outcomes, rather than act as the sole data engineer or dashboard developer.
Leadership & Team Building
- Hire and manage BI / Analytics team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, CRM, and Tech
Requirements
- Russian language proficiency is mandatory *
- 3+ years in analytics / BI roles, including leadership experience
- Strong understanding of product management practices, including: product discovery, roadmap and backlog prioritization, requirements definition
- Strong understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting architecture.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools; Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus.
- Experience in iGaming, fintech, marketplaces, or other high-volume transactional B2B products is a strong advantage.
