Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced Language & Reading Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. If you're passionate about supporting students — and you want the flexibility to build a schedule around your life — we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's reading level, literacy goals, and unique learning profile.
- Create structured lesson plans focused on core literacy components (such as phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, or essay writing) that align with grade-level standards and student needs.
- Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension building blocks to foster confidence and a love for reading.
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners regarding reading growth and language milestones.

- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience working with students who have education needs
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
- Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace
Preferred (not required):
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
