We are looking for a highly skilled Junior Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their accounting career. As an Entry-Level Accountant (or Junior Accountant), you will support the finance department by managing daily transactions, processing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, and aiding in month-end closing. Key duties include accurate data entry, maintaining ledger accounts, and assisting with financial reports, typically under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Transactions: Processing invoices, posting bills, and maintaining accurate accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Data Entry & Compliance: Ensuring all financial data is accurately entered into systems and compliant with GAAP or local tax regulations.
- General Support: Assisting with internal audits, data analysis, and expense tracking.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong work ethic.
