The listing
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing global finance team! If you’re passionate about numbers, process improvement, and accuracy, this is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role requires and involves full ownership of accounting operations, AP policy implementation, and managing trade loans based on accounts receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will need to function and problem-solve on their own post-training.
Looking for detail orientation and experience in financial forecasting, and optimizing cash flow while clearing outstanding payables
This role will be working from home permanently and during U.S. PST business hours and has a tentative start date in January 2026.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Manage AP and AR processes, including invoice validation, payments, and collections.
- Support monthly and annual close activities and financial reporting.
- Assist in audits, ensure compliance with IFRS, and maintain internal controls.
- Partner with global teams to streamline and improve accounting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multinational setting.
- Solid knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and month-end close.
- Proficiency with accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
