We are currently hiring a Business Intelligence Associate who will partner with business divisions to understand analytics needs, build data models, and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI. Working with large datasets in SQL and Python, they ensure data quality, extract actionable insights, and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business value and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a Business Intelligence Associate, you will do the following:
- Work with stakeholders to identify data analytics needs for different business units.
- Use data software tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar to develop reports and dashboards.
- Perform complex data modelling and design effective data analysis methodologies.
- Report findings to internal stakeholders and partner with cross-functional (XFN) teams to identify business improvement opportunities.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to extract and communicate insights.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Support and train end users on data exploration and self-service analytics.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
- Perform data profiling to detect anomalies and trends.
- Conduct statistical analysis and apply techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, and time series.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws in all analytics processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in data analytics, BI, or data science roles.
- Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business analytics and visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Python and key data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets.
- Strong grasp of data modelling techniques and statistical analysis.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience working within product-focused cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into product and business strategy recommendations.
