We are seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to join a U.S.-based digital marketing team that partners with clients across multiple industries. This role goes beyond traditional SEO, combining technical expertise, content strategy, and AI-driven search optimization to help businesses strengthen their online visibility and achieve measurable growth.

Duties / Task to perform
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and translate findings into clear, actionable implementation plans.
- Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, semantic clustering, and content strategy development.
- Optimize websites for traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search experiences.
- Identify opportunities through technical SEO, structured data, schema markup, and entity optimization.
- Analyze competitors across traditional search and AI-generated search results.
- Develop backlink acquisition strategies and support digital PR initiatives.
- Collaborate with content, UX, and development teams to improve website performance and conversions.
- Support business development by participating in discovery sessions, proposal development, and strategic recommendations.
- Prepare executive-level reports that connect SEO performance with business outcomes.
- Stay current with evolving SEO trends, AI search technologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an SEO agency environment.
- Proven success improving organic rankings, traffic, and overall search performance.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and presenting strategic recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl/index management, and structured data.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Experience with keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-driven search optimization (GEO) and modern SEO best practices.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal); Spanish proficiency is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Proactive, collaborative, curious, and data-driven mindset.
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Eastern Time (GMT -5)
