The listing
About Ottimate
Ottimate is an AI-powered AP [Accounts Payable] automation platform that empowers finance teams to reduce costs, prevent overpayments, detect fraud, and enforce policy compliance across the entire invoice-to-payment lifecycle.
About The Role
We are looking for a strategic and engaging Onboarding Specialist to join our Implementation team. Your goal is to ensure that new Ottimate clients don't just "have" our software, but are experts in using it to transform their financial workflows. You will design learning paths, lead high-impact configuration and training sessions, and consult with clients to remove the behavioral and knowledge-based barriers that hinder full product adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Strategy & Delivery: Design and execute customized training programs tailored to various user personas (e.g., AP Clerks, Controllers, and CFOs).
- Success Benchmarking: Define and track key adoption metrics and report on the effectiveness of training interventions.
- Adoption Consulting: Analyze client usage data to identify "low-adoption" accounts. Proactively consult with these clients to understand friction points and provide targeted re-education.
- Change Management: Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, helping them navigate the internal shift from manual processes to automated workflows.
- Voice of the Customer: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback on user friction points discovered during training sessions.
- Process Transformation: Map existing client workflows and re-engineer them into streamlined Ottimate solutions.
- Strategic Project Alignment: Act as a primary consultant to client leadership, proactively identifying project risks and negotiating commitments to the "critical path" to ensure continuous momentum and on-time go-lives.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in Customer Implementation & Enablement, Corporate Training, or Product Adoption within a SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical functionality into simple, actionable steps for non-technical users.
- Exceptional presentation skills; you should be as comfortable leading a 1:1 "deep dive" as you are presenting to a group of 50+.
- A strong understanding of the Accounts Payable lifecycle or general B2B financial operations is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as required, up to 10%.
Benefits
We care deeply about making Ottimate an incredible place to work and invest a significant amount of time and energy into creating and maintaining a company culture that provides our team with a generous level of support whilst inspiring them to do their best work.
The specific benefits/perks we offer are continually evolving, but currently include:
- Compensation: $70,000-80,000 + 10% annual Bonus
- Competitive salary based on skills & experience.
- Medical, Dental, Vision and other Company-Subsidized Benefits for you and your family.
- Employer-sponsored 401(k) with company match.
- Paid Time Off (and the encouragement to use it).
- Annual company retreats.
- Promote from within philosophy.
Beyond the tangible benefits though:
- You will be part of a growing team, at a pinnacle moment of scale for the business and experience the excitement of working in a startup where each action makes a huge difference.
- You will have the agency to solve difficult problems creatively, the freedom to explore work that inspires you, and infrastructure to ensure you're constantly challenged and developing.
- You will work with sharp, passionate teammates solving some of the most unique challenges and positioning our product as a premier finance automation solution.
- Our commitment to empowering a diverse and inclusive workforce, celebrating differences, and creating a safe space for our employees to bring their whole selves to work is second to note.
