The listing
This role owns two important areas. The first is the set of products that 25,000 teachers use to earn income: mentoring, live events, retreats, courses, and the dashboard that ties them together. The second is the content library itself: growing it, closing the gap between what people search for and what we have, and building systems to help grow and organise it at a scale.
This is a role for builders. You can take an idea, leverage AI to generate working prototypes, and turn them into products that millions of people can use. This is also an IC role, and you will report directly to our CEO.
About Insight Timer
Imagine a platform which could amplify something as simple as your attendance into deep transformational shifts for humanity. A place where showing up was enough. Where each individual visit combined with millions more to trigger huge waves of health and happiness around the world. What would such a platform look like? Could you even build it? And more importantly, how would you protect it from becoming another Instagram, TikTok or Twitter which magnify the very worst of us.
If we can answer these questions, we believe Insight Timer's community will emerge as one of the most important companies of the 21st century. A place - not a product - which is capable of reversing the modern day health pandemic by harmonising the human spirit before problems arise.
And if we get there... well, the opportunities are endless. Imagine a modern-day renaissance where health, belonging and purpose become the new definitions of happiness for hundreds of millions of people around the world, including you.
And all you need to do… is show up.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning products that help teachers earn: mentoring, live events, retreats, courses, and the dashboard that ties them together.
- Grow the library: build systems to scale the amount of high quality content coming into the platform.
- Close the gaps: Understand where there are gaps between what our community is searching for and the content we currently have on the platform, and design strategies to fill them.
- Building with AI: conceptualise and build working prototypes of products before they move to engineering.
- Understand our teachers: spend time with them. Understand how they grow an audience, what they sell, and how we can help them earn more.
Requirements
- Experience: You have spent years building products at consumer companies, used by millions. You have built features from idea through to production.
- You are a builder: A prompt fanatic. Product-obsessed. You crave time to think through problems deeply and build elegant solutions yourself.
- Understand marketplaces: You have built for both sides of the marketplace. Creator-platform experience is a bonus.
- You understand creators: You instinctively understand how creators run their businesses and earn income.
- Content at scale: You have run large content libraries or the pipelines behind them, and understand how to maintain quality as they grow.
- AI-native: You can build using AI. You can show us products you've built yourself using AI tools.
Benefits
- We offer competitive salaries and options.
- The role is fully remote, with regular travel to Sydney, Australia.
- Extra leave days are available for your wellbeing and birthday.
- An L&D budget and wellbeing bonus.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.
Even if you don't think you quite meet all of the skills listed or tick all the boxes, we'd still love to hear from you.
