We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join FusionHit’s high-impact environment. In this role, you will bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams driving modernization initiatives for enterprise retail and supply chain systems, translating store operations and supply chain workflows into clear functional requirements.
This project focuses on modernizing enterprise-level retail systems that directly support business-critical store and supply chain operations.
Location: Remote – Latin America (must reside and have work authorization in LatAm)
Availability: Significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST)
Requirements
- BS/MS in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst on enterprise software projects.
- Strong retail, store operations, or supply chain domain experience (required).
- Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements (BRDs, functional specs, user stories) for enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams building React/Next.js frontends and Java/Spring Boot backend services on Postgres-backed APIs.
- Strong understanding of phased modernization strategies over legacy backend systems.
- Experience facilitating UAT, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlog grooming in Agile/Scrum environments (JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders and incorporating real-world user feedback.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders for retail/supply chain modernization initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for cross-functional engineering teams.
- Partner with frontend and backend engineers to validate that delivered features meet business intent.
- Lead UAT cycles and define acceptance criteria for phased legacy-to-modern migrations.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder demos.
- Analyze data flows between legacy and modernized systems, flagging gaps or risks.
- Support change management and training as new systems roll out to store/supply chain operations.
