Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality behavioral health services to clients across New York. The position involves supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups with a range of mental health concerns while maintaining a consistent standard of clinical care. The successful candidate will bring strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to treatment.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and identify treatment priorities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical presentation
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to support coordinated and effective care
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Uphold applicable ethical, confidentiality, and professional standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active New York license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
- A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience.
- Background in trauma, addiction, or family therapy is a plus.
- Strong ethical understanding and excellent communication skills.
