Position Overview
This full-time telehealth position is for a Licensed Professional Counselor providing ongoing mental health support to clients throughout Louisiana.
The work is focused on direct client care. You’ll conduct virtual sessions, complete assessments, establish treatment goals, monitor progress, and adjust care as client needs change. Clients may be seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, or major life transitions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled individual therapy sessions through telehealth
- Complete intake assessments and review relevant client history
- Develop treatment goals and individualized care plans
- Support clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns
- Teach practical coping strategies and therapeutic skills
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans when appropriate
- Provide crisis support and connect clients with additional resources when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active LPC license in Louisiana
- Experience providing counseling services in a clinical or telehealth setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently
