The listing
Help us build our talent network. This is not a job application; it's an invitation to stay on our radar. Share your background and we'll reach out when a Director-level operations role opens in a market that fits you.
Green Thumb Industries is one of the largest and fastest-growing cannabis companies in the country, with cultivation, production, and retail operations spanning multiple states. As we continue to scale, we're building a talent network of world-class operations leaders who want to be part of something genuinely different.
Our Director, Site Operations leaders are the engine of our facilities. You'd be responsible for the full scope of a cannabis manufacturing site — from the grow and lab through post-processing, packaging, and logistics — with direct accountability for safety, quality, compliance, productivity, and the people who make it all run. You'll own the facility budget, drive continuous improvement, and lead a multilevel team through the complexity and pace of a high-growth operation.
This isn't a role for someone looking to manage a steady state. Our facilities are growing, our markets are evolving, and the regulatory landscape shifts constantly. The leaders who thrive here are highly motivated, self-directed, and bring strong judgment and resourcefulness to every challenge — whether that's a scheduling gap, a compliance requirement, or an opportunity to drive real operational gains.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership
- Direct management of 100+ people
- Consumer packaged goods experience
- P&L ownership
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred)
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge a plus
- Cannabis, horticulture, or lab processing exposure a plus
If this sounds like the work you were built for, we'd love to have you in our network.
