The listing
Help us build our talent network. This is not a job application; it's an invitation to stay on our radar. Share your background and we'll reach out when an Operations Manager role opens in a market that fits you.
Green Thumb Industries is one of the largest and fastest-growing cannabis companies in the country, with cultivation, production, and retail operations spanning multiple states. As we continue to scale, we're building a talent network of hands-on operations leaders who are ready to own the floor and drive results in a high-growth environment.
Our Operations Managers are where strategy meets execution. You'd be responsible for the day-to-day and long-term performance of a cannabis production facility — overseeing processing, packaging, maintenance, quality, and logistics — with direct accountability for safety, compliance, efficiency, and the people doing the work. You'll spend real time on the plant floor, partner with the General Manager on budgeting and analytics, and lead a multilevel team through the complexity and pace of a rapidly evolving operation.
This isn't a role for someone looking to manage a steady state. Our facilities are growing, our markets are shifting, and no two weeks look the same. The leaders who thrive here are adaptable, detail-oriented, and bring both strong technical knowledge and genuine people instincts — whether that's closing a labor variance gap, coaching a new supervisor, or navigating a last-minute compliance requirement.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of manufacturing management experience
- Direct management of 30+ people
- Consumer packaged goods experience
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Business preferred
- Strong data and reporting skills; proficiency in Microsoft and inventory systems
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge a plus
- Cannabis, horticulture, or lab processing exposure strongly desired
If this sounds like the work you were built for, we'd love to have you in our network.
