Your role will involve leading a team of security professionals, collaborating with other executives, and serving as the primary point of contact for all security matters. You will ensure that the security policies, standards, and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a robust security strategy that encompasses risk management, incident response, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
    • Lead and manage the security team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
    • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with security policies.
    • Serve as a key advisor to senior management on security matters and report on security incidents, risks, and the status of security programs.
    • Work closely with IT and operations teams to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and processes.
    • Develop and manage security budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet security objectives.
    • Stay informed of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in security management, with a proven track record of leadership roles, particularly in a corporate environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing security programs related to both cybersecurity and physical security.
  • Strong understanding of risk management practices, incident response protocols, and security incident management.
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Experience in incident response and developing business continuity planning.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
