Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide virtual therapy services to clients throughout North Carolina. This position focuses on establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships, assessing client needs, and providing appropriate support throughout the course of care.
The clinician will manage scheduled sessions, complete comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and monitor progress over time. Success in this position requires sound clinical judgment, thorough documentation, and the ability to deliver a professional and supportive experience in a virtual setting.
Clinical Practice
The therapist will work with clients experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal stress. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting scheduled individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Completing biopsychosocial assessments and gathering relevant clinical history
- Establishing treatment goals based on each client’s needs and clinical presentation
- Selecting and applying appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Reviewing client progress and adjusting goals or treatment approaches when indicated
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and clinical records within required timelines
- Identifying situations that may require additional services or a higher level of care
- Communicating appropriately with clients and internal support teams when coordination is needed
- Maintaining confidentiality, professional boundaries, and applicable ethical standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted LCSW license in North Carolina
- Experience providing therapy or behavioral health services
- Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Ability to manage a remote caseload with accuracy and professionalism
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
